So right before Mother's Day we came home at 9:00 at night to find our ceiling streaming water into our living room. The water was coming from the sink in our upstairs master bathroom. Apparently the water was turned off on the whole block for some sort of construction and when the water was turned back on it burst a valve on my sink. We were gone all day so we are guessing the water was flooding the house for about 4 or 5 hours. We had to stay at Matt's parents house for several days during the drying and re-construction process. What a nightmare, but the good news from all of this is that the walls needed to be re-painted so I finally got to get my walls painted the colors I had picked out.

What a disaster. Wow that was so much work to fix the damage. Now that everything is fixed it looks great! I am glad everything worked out ok.
